What's the difference in the two versions of the 9TL loader? There's the rounded version, and the more angled version. At first I thought the rounded version were newer, but I really can't tell because the "year" of the machine depends on the date of sale.

And ... is there any operational difference between the two?

Top picture is the newer loader (Bobcat built). This loader came out in 2010. That doesn't necessarily mean the tractor is any more recent build, just gives an idea on when the loader was. Dealers could order tractors without loaders then add it themselves or could order it with loader installed. Only way to tell which tractor is the more recent is compare the serial numbers, the higher number is more recent.

No there is no real operational difference or performance difference with the loaders. The Bobcat loaded does have a close fit tolerance in the pivot pins so not quite as much bounce/slop, and it has Bobcat built cylinders but of the same size, so no real difference there other than possibly availability of seal kit. Bobcat uses same seal design in all of their own built cylinders or it is easy to get correct seals.

The other difference I just thought of is: Rhino sold there loader to Bobcat with a 72" bucket as standard, Bobcat sold their loader with a 68" bucket as standard. The Bobcat bucket comes with 2 sets of holes in the bucket so teeth can be bolted on. The slightly narrower bucket allows for better side to side stability with loader completely raised so the "Lift Capacity at Full height" is about 200 lbs. more, but breakout force and other capacities stayed the same.

No kidding? What is the published weight capacity of both versions? It's the 68" bucket similar in volume capacity to the 72" ?
