I bought this stuff
Amazon.com: Shell Rotella (5539811) Heavy Duty Tractor Fluid - 5 Gallon Pail: Automotive

The only implement this one has is the same belly mower you have. It's my uncle's tractor, who's disabled now so I do the upkeep and maintenance. He had a post hole digger, rototiller, and brush cutter for it, which are all sold now. Reason being years ago he was using the rototiller with the clutch adjusted to tight, and snapped the PTO shaft in the tractor. He claims he took it apart and found this himself, but reinstalled it all when he couldn't find parts.

Even the belly mower is a bit rough. Today I did the first cut of the season, and it was vibrating pretty bad. Thought it was the blades out of balance, but upon closer inspection the driveshaft is bouncing badly. The gearbox is flopping around. The deck looks cracked where the gearbox mounts. I'll have to weld it up.

This brush cutter and the rototiller were way too big for this tractor. When I made turns the front wheels would come off the ground a little

Rugged little machines! Good luck with the hydro fluid change out!

Did the hydro fluid change, all went well. Filter fits nicely, cleaned all 3 screens. I must comment on how brittle they are. Anyone thinking of doing this, treat them like a wet napkin. The one inline near the RF tire was the dirtiest. I did have to remove the LR tire to remove one of the screens. I got probably an extra 2 quarts out of the system by pushing fluid out of the cooler lines, and tipping the tractor towards the right where the drain plug is.
Noise level seems the same, but at least it's maintained better now.
Oh by the way, searching h1502 on YouTube brings up a few cold start up videos and a short ride. I posted those of this tractor.

Anyway thanks for the help and information. This thread has to be the most complete source of info on this topic.

I'm glad I could help. I did quite a bit of research after buying my H1502 a few years ago.. Enjoy that machine. It rocks..
