Picked up this John Deere 95 rear blade today. It a 9 footer and real solid, almost no wear on reversible cutting edge. I'm going to pick up a couple hydraulic pistons to add to it

Well done! I just picked up a 7' land pride and I don't think it looks that good. Paid $650. You win! Although I don't think I could pull a 9.

I picked up a 3-1/2 X 8 Grizzly hydraulic cylinder today at TSC for $90.00 ( price matched from $150.00). Retracted length is 20-1/4" and 8" stroke is what I need. It'll be used for the offset swing coming off the 3 point hitch. Any thoughts on Grizzly hydraulic cylinders or the cylinder size I got as far as quality/strength for my application?

That should work, the landpride came with a 19.?" retracted with an 8 to 10 inch stroke for the offset cylinder. I never measured the diameter but if I had to guess the rod is in 1.5" or 1.25" range. I can't speak for the quality of the tractor supply cylinder.

My 9' Bush Hog blade uses a 3 1/2" x 16" cylinder for offset. Real heavy rod, 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" It all depends on your mounts if 8" is enough. I would want bigger than 1 1/4" rod for off set.

Super price, I paid over 5X that and thought I got a deal. Mine did come with cylinders.
