Does anyone know if the round red brake lights are a sealed unit or does it take a bulb? I haven't got a chance to look in the on line parts schematic yet. Thought maybe someone has replaced one and might know. I noticed right side out when parking brake is set. Not sure yet but it doesn't look like it will be real easy taking out if it is a sealed unit. Anyone been into one before? Thanks.

Part #s 15 and 18 are for the replacement bulbs.
15 is the turn signal, 18 is the brake lamp.

Thanks George. The diagram you posted showed it was a bulb vs. sealed unit. It was easier than I thought. The bulb socket is a grey plastic piece where the wires enter. The socket has "fins" on it so you can turn it. Because the rear lights are protected by metal brace under the fender there is not much room to work. I took both index fingers, one on each side of the brace, and was able to turn it out. The bulb has 2 elements and looked the same as an 1157 so that's what I put in. Works fine.

I've never had mine out but good to know an 1157 works.
I found the pic diagram in the parts book. Mine uses the same bulbs.
Glad it was an easy fix.
