I am interested in buying a brush grapple to uproot brush that might be too big for my bush hog. In addition I would like to be able to pick up rocks when preparing food plots. Can I effectively use a rock grapple that has the tines closer togeather to uproot brush? I would like to hear from anyone who has experiance with this equiptment. Thanks

I've been using a rock grapple for both tasks for years.

Thanks for the reply, obviously it works well for both.

Hey Cop in Overalls,

We bought a brush grapple from Rootgrapple.com and it works great for rocks. I can pickup darn near any size rock, from tiny to large (up to the loader capability). I have a Kubota L5030 and the grapple is on the heavy side, although something as light as a 300lb landscape rake makes the rear heavy enough to handle most loads (Naturally, I have the rear tires filled). I don't have pics of the grapple in action picking up rocks, but here are a few when it was new.
