In a word, NO. After demoing several commercial rated flails, and sending them home in pieces, I'd avoid them like the plague if you're planning on cutting heavy woody brush and saplings. They have their place, which is NOT in severe conditions. ESPECIALLY the belt driven models.....
I've owned quite a few Woods mowers, and now have 7 Bush Hog bat wings (Just took delivery on 2 more this week!) and 4 single spindle 3-point decks....Let me put it this way....Any future purchases will be MORE Bush Hog cutters. I was not at all impressed with the last few Woods mowers I owned.
