The dent is no problem. Either way, take the hood off and tap the dent out yourself with the Harbor Freight hammer and dolly set. Small taps until you get the hang of it.

A better way is to take it to a local body shop and have them tap it out with their higher priced hammer and dolly set. You'll have a few hammer marks when done but don't repaint. Just use as is and not many will ever notice.

It's going to be a farm tractor so "pre-dented/pre-scratched" means I don't have to jones over all the little bumps and scratches it's going to get over the next xx years until I assume room temperature. I keep them in a barn when not in use and have the dealer maintain them. It's what's under the skin that really counts and this one checks all the boxes for my current and future needs.
