Went to dealer yesterday to look at the bx2200. I was thinking of buying one in the spring. The dealer came right out and said he would sell me a new bx2200 with 60" mmm,
fel, and loaded turf tires for $11,800. Looking at previous posts this seems like a great price. We talked some more and he said he had a used bx1800 with 105 hours on it with the 54" mmm, fel, and loaded turf tires, for $9,400. That is a $2,400 difference... I have 1.5 acres of land, 2/3rds is lawn, the rest is woods, all of it is on a slope or hill. My practial side says get the bx1800 and use the $2400 for other things, but I can't help thinking about the bx2200 which is new and be my baby.
One other question is the 54" deck. In the brochure it says the 60" deck is self-balance suspended linkage and the 54" deck is just suspended linkage. Is there a big deal without the self-balancing part?
Thanks
