Hi Can someone ID this wire connector, it pigtails out of the rear light loom. Appears the PO put a jumper wire in it ? What is it's purpose. Cheers

I suspect it's for a worklight should you choose to purchase one. It will have power only when the key is turned on.

That is not a connector with for a work light with two wires the same color and operating with a jumper.
It is going to be for some safety feature that has been bypassed.

Go through the attached recommended maintenance checks for engine starting and I think you will find what it is for if you leave the jumper out.

In view of its location near the right rear fender I suspect the pto

Safety switch, that makes sense. Probably from the seat as I can start with seat up or not sitting on it . PTO safety switch works .Thanks
