Can someone please direct me to the thread & post by that guy who made the fabulous, home made, fixed thumb for his BX24.

Thanks!

Are these the one, that you are referring to?

If so, you can email me or check my home page.

These thumbs are even nicer.

I looked at your eBay imagery.

1. Does the black cylinder come with the purchase?
2. Is the black cylinder a solid, fixed length?
3. Do you only sell via eBay?
4. Are there different size options or one size for the BX24?

I am not completely clear how the black cylinder functions in this design unless it is fixed [though it looks like it telescopes]. I assume that the bucket curls until the desired item is pinched betweem the bucket and the fixed thumb.

Thanks,
The Gardener

Referencing the attached image, I see three parts to the thumb installation.

1. The orange triangle that bolts to the BX arm
2. The orange thumb that pinches items against the BX bucket
3. The black cylinder

Are all three included in the purchase?

Thanks Again,
The Gardener

Hi Gardener,

The black cylinder is the Top-Link, which normally comes with the 3 point. It works like a turnbuckle, giving a wide range of adjustment.

Please advise me if the 3pt comes standard or not, with the BX24.
The Top link does not come with the Thumb. The Thumb for the BX are made for the BX22,BX23 & BX24, they come complete with bolts & pins , except for the Top-Link, which I would recommend getting the 3pt kit from Kubota.

I do sell outside of eBay, send me a request by email. I have installion instructions to give you a better feel.

Thanks,
Richard
