BX25 Front Case Oil low. What the.....

I noticed the manual said the front case takes 5 quarts but I was at full after 4.

After you run it for a while recheck the fluid. If you didn't take the vent bolts out of the top of the housing on both sides it won't let all the air out of the housing. So after using it for a couple hours check it again. There have been MANY BX tractors delivered new with very low front axle oil. Mine was also one of them. Some one isn't doing their job, in the end the dealer should be the one checking it before delivery.

I put slime in my fronts and foamed the rears... so far it is worked out well.

Dealer cautioned against foam for the fronts saying it adds stress to the axle.
