- Case 4240
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question
I have a Case 4240 which I am pretty happy with. It pretty much does all I need it to do. It has a front loader which I have never really put to the test until this year. I tried to lift some round bales of silage. It will not lift them. I can hear the relief valve cutting in. I measured the hydraulic oil pressure which reads 2400psi. I am told these tractors have a cartridge relief valve. My question is , can these valves be shimmed or adjusted in any way to bring the pressure up. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have. Thanks
