I have 4 yellow dogwoods and 4 red osier dogwoods at my driveway entrance. Over the past 2 weeks or so small white caterpillars have eaten the leaves off of them. Other nearby bushes and trees are untouched. I've attached 2 pictures. Any thoughts on what the caterpillar is?

Thanks 2Lane. It's Dogwood Sawfly. They stripped the bushes bare. Happened last year too and they came back just fine.

Yup. It definitely is not a D8.

BT is very effective for controlling most caterpillars, it is a bacteria that messes up their digestive track.
