CB 65 backhoe Quick connect for Massey Ferguson GC tractors.
We have tested our Quick Connect for a year and it is ready.
It is very quick to change out accessories.

I built the first one hand cutting. Now I have CNC plasma table and other tools to make it right.

What grade of steel are you using? Thickness?

It is 3/8" steel plate the same steel the OEM factory bucket ears are made of.
I have used it with a over sized 16" bucket that I made and a root ripper it is working well.

Someone asked for a video showing the bucket range. It has 100% full range with the quick connect installed.
This is with the OEM bucket.

That's pretty neat, Gofast. Hopefully yours holds up better than bxpanded's, I've seen a few failures reported with theirs.

Thanks.
Do you know how they failed? (Never mind I found some post on it. It looks like some bad steel)
I have used mine with a root ripper and digging on a lot of projects so far.

Wear and tear combined with metal that stressed and tore after use has resulted in product failure from BXpanded's offering. To their credit, they've been supporting the product from what I've seen but the failure of it reveals a possible flaw in what material they may be using, or the quality of the fabrication. The metal used, especially something with open ears like the QA you have is susceptible to fatigue and tearing over time and use. The larger the item you grab or pull (like a large rock or stump) the longer the lever the harder the strain. This is where using the right grade steel is absolutely key.

For example, AR450 has a tensil strength of over 195k PSI and a yield strength of over 180k PSI vs A572 with a tensile strength of 65k+ PSI and yield of 50k PSI. The guys at EA harp on the importance of selecting the right metal for the project as a key to durability. They use the 2 types given as their goto build metals.

Another common steel, A36, only has a yield of 36k*PSI and tensile strength of 58k PSI.

Bottom line... What it's made of matters.

I looked at some of the past failures and changed the design.
I think they probably had some bad steel. But better safe than sorry.
Thanks for the feedback.
The first one is shipping out with the new design.
