I'd replace the Ujoints between the engine and the hydraulics. The front one (without a zerk) on our 4010 blew apart at 660 hours.

If one of them go, you're dead in the water.

Interesting....thanks for the heads up! My son has a 4100 with FEL, Curtis cab, front mount snowblower, ballast box, QH, forks.

Just shy of 600 hrs.

Great little tractor. Quite a "bulldog" actually. Gonna check out that hyd pump u-joint.

If the u-joints are greased regularly, they last for a long time. The problem is the grease fittings are very difficult to get to. If you do a search, you can find out some people's solution to greasing them. I don't believe the owners manual mentions greasing them.

The 4100, 4110, and 4115 CUTs are all direct drive between the engine and tranny, no drive shafts like the 4010, 2320 and 2025 models have.
