chipping away in maine

I have a friend who owns a landscaping business his bandit chipper I have rented some smaller ones in past just not sure there worth the $3000 or so to get one that can do the work ya need your looking at $10000 min. My friend also rents his out for $150 a day. You can get rid of a lot of trees in a day with this chipper. I usually hate renting or borrowing implements but I think renting a chipper once or twice a year is the way to go, thoughts.
