08-22 : Engine Coolant Temp out of range - LOW
1) Is your coolant temperature gauge reading in the normal range? If the gauge is reading low, you may have a thermostat stuck open. If its reading normal, then you may have a bad sensor or faulty wiring to the sensor.
2) Check to see if the thermostat is working (hot coolant coming out of the hose to the radiator)? If the coolant hose coming out of the engine is not as hot as you'd expect, perhaps your thermostat is stuck open. If the hose is very hot, then again, you may have a bad sensor or wiring issue.
