When starting my 335 down in single digits (around -15 C for my northern neighbors) I have noticed a little hydraulic whine that sounds like it may be coming from the engine mounted pump. So far my trans has been quiet in the cold, but I have also been fortunate in avoiding any sub-zero (F) operation so far this winter.
