Apparently it's a Walterscheid slip clutch. Given how popular landpride seems to be, you'd think more people would be exposed to these

From another forum:

"Slip clutches can basically be split into to two groups friction disk or mechanical cut out , the mechanical are the pin clutch and cam clutch style while the friction disk use fibre disks between steel plates , mechanical clutches don't seize they just start to cut out earlier and eventually will just stop working witch is the rebuild time .
Friction clutchs are very prone to seizing moisture will cause the steel plates to rust wich then glue them selves to the friction disk and lock the clutch up solid, repairing can just be a simple strip down and clean up new plates maybe required . theres several different styles of friction clutch some are adjustable using external springs very easy to pull apart but require more work to set up correctly while others use bevel springs and work at set pressure easy to pull apart once you have done some but they look like a sealed unit but are completely rebuild able.
The link below should give more of a idea about clutches.
