We went from 2 Black-bellied Whistling Ducks to 16, and now there are 31. They act more like chickens then ducks. They love the chicken scratch, and they like to sit on the fence, or on branches in the trees. They are also known as Tree Ducks. Every evening, just before dark, they take off and fly around the pond two or 3 times, before heading North. We have no idea where they go.
