Found out the CT225 isnt work a hoot plowing, on frozen rock, and asphalt road.
Tires just slide. I dont have turf tires, mine are the next grade of aggressive.
Is the only solution, chains?
I have a 55 gallon barrel 3/4 filled concrete inside for back weight.
I was hoping it would do better.
Any ideas?

Assume you have R4 (industrial tires),sometimes hard to fit chains on that type;you may want to think about studs.

I always see chains on them when they are being used for plowing. Not sure were the chains are being sourced. Also make sure 4wd is working. I've seen linkage and propeller shaft issues.

I do pretty well in snow. Not very impressive on ice. Mine has r4 tires and a box blade on the back.

Thanks guys! Yes, i believe R4 is correct.
We have calcium in tires at work, enloaders, backhoes, etc.
My woodpile is down the hill a bit, and would like to get down to it, to pick up logs etc, to cut and put in my woodboiler.
Woodboiler is down there also.
Always something! Lol!

Forgot to mention check your clearances on the inside of your tires to fenders and framework.
Are your rims adjustable?
Or you may need spacers.

The Euro style patterned chains will ride much nicer on hard and frozen ground as well as providing
much more traction then ladder or duo-grip style chains.
Good Luck

Trygg is what I have on rear. I also have front ones. When chained up my little tractor is almost unstoppable. Search my used name for what I did. Its probably under snow removal. I custom made mins for a perfect fit
