I have a neighbor that used to work at the Jamestown plant. He always stressed the quality aspect of his job. He did the final grind on the camshafts. This will probably be news to him. They built the over the road truck engines there.

If there lucky they can fine enough to drive them out of business, that seems to be the goal.

Wonder how this will be viewed in states with no diesel emissions? Might be a great way to get a Cummins Ram diesel truck cheap from a seller in a state WITH emissions?

CMI was only down 3% today, despite this blow. Could be that Cummins has been accruing for the fine and their Wall Street market makers knew this.
