Built the dash, routed the switch holes and painted with 3 coats of Rustoleum premium Gloss Black. Now installing and laying out the components.

Prepping the cab to run wires and install the dash. Will be hinged for easy access.

Installing dome lights and running the wiper and light wires in the cab concealing with loom tube.

Finishing top the bench work on the dash wiring using heat shrink connections on switches, relays and timers. Whew!

Time to install the dash in the tractor and finish up the connections.

Left side fuse panel is ignition controlled, right side fuse panel is direct to battery. Middle block is dome lights connected to timer and door switches. The timer runs the dome lights for 2 min after the doors are closed.

Powered up, no smoke, no sparks, no buzzing, no popping. Cool!

That is a pretty impressive fabrication job, as I see it. And it works, so is worthy of the big smile for sure, for sure.

Thanks beenthere and Joe.

Final wiring, tucking and fitting today. Ordered a new piano hinge yesterday because the dash is too heavy for only two attach points and 4 screws. Arriving tomorrow so will install and start the big cleanup.

Really pleased with results. Was on for over two hours, all wires and components all stone cold. So glad I learned about relays.

New piano hinge showed up today. Installed and the dash is complete.

Closed it up and tomorrow is cleanup and take out to grade some roads so the weekend traffic can pack it down.
