Bought my 5' cutter back in December. Used it for maybe 1.5 hours before yesterday. It was really hot and I used it for about an hour or so during the hottest part of the day. Noticed oil leaking out of the oil fill plug when I finished. Pulled out the manual and read: "DO NOT overfill gearboxes. This will cause pressure to build up and cause grease seals to leak." It also said to check for the proper level of oil to just remove the 1/8" oil level plug and see if the oil leaks out. (I assume they meant the 1/4" plug I actually pulled in the pictures below.) I pulled it and milky oil (aerated?) glugged out slowly for about 15 minutes. I should have checked before I used it, but I didn't. I'm thinking it may have been over filled. Any opinions on the state of my cutter? Also, there was some funky hard white plastic thing on the inside of the oil level plug. Came off really easy when I messed with it.
