Hello all,

When I bought this tractor it had wheel weights installed in the 24” rims. I’d like to know how much each one weighs and know the brand so I can add a little more weight.

Does anyone recognize what these are?

Thanks!

The weights look like these from Lonestar at 60# each.

If you added liquid ballast, the additional weight would be: 14.9-24 47gal 392#

Id take 250lbs of steel over 392lbs of liquid any day of the year.

Not me. I have a manual transmission (with a clutch). Starting the machine rolling is more gentle because the salt water is stationary at first and ramps up to speed as you travel (usually several wheel revs). The weight is always there for traction but the driving rolling inertia is not.

I also have a manual transmission. The issues for me lie in rim corrosion and patching nail holes. My dad bought a new Kubota with rimguard and it ate through the valve stems.
