Hey, guys, thanks for the condolences. We will be waiting a while before we get another one, but it sure is hard looking at his pictures and thinking back

Just by chance, a 6 month-old Airedale puppy became available last week, and so with no particular plans, we went to have a look at him. Beautiful specimen, but he was just CRAZY - jumping up on everyone and mouthing them, and grabbing everything in the room he could get his mouth on (including my wife's purse!). Couldn't sit still for a minute. Too wild for us, and we were trying to remember if our Jake was like that (not). Reminds me of all the training sessions, puppy-proofing the house, shots, etc. etc. etc. that we went through with Jake. And we're not getting any younger!

Here's another shot of Jake, in happier times:IMG_0335.jpg

She's an irish wolfhound.......only 20 months old so still has some growing to do........smart as a whip as they say and just as determined too....haha!

Deerhound, Wolfhound ?

Dogs love a good stuck stick or exposed root end challenge. :)

Waiting for a home made dog bone.
A house isn't a home without a dog.
Scarves are for a party and the extra dog is just visiting for the gathering.

Extra? The extra might stand out to you, but they all look like they belong to me.
But.....If I had to guess.......

I think it's the second from the left, top row. Or second from the left in the row of 4.

Front row center is the odd dog out.
All the other ones know the drill.

You are close because the second in from the left in the back row is sister to the first dog mentioned.

Davis, the yellow lab is a disability service dog. The first pict is from our 25th anniversary trip on a plaine. The other pict is him at the hospital after the wife's knee replacement for thanksgiving.

Everyone's dog is special but I'm a little partial to a good looking Springer.

7 is even better! Very cute SD.

That's quite the pack you have sixdogs.
