Don\'t sell your Kubota before you price a new one.

I put my L3130 GST 4 WD with the LA513 in the Market Bulletin and I would have settled for about 16500. I hoped to sell it a get a L3830 4wd with a LA723 or a L4300 4Wd with a bucket (I learned Kubota no longer makes the L4300, but went to a L4400) ,but no matter the prices are up close to a thousand dollars, at least at this particular dealership. When I learned this I decided to keep what I have and maybe trade it in on a used Kubota L4300 with low hours on it later.

You said ""the prices are up close to a thousand dollars"". Is that over a certain period of time?

Or does it mean something else?

Re: Don\'t sell your Kubota before you price a new one.

The price of steel has gone up in the last 6 months or so. A 4' bush hog was about $100 higher than it was 6 months ago.

I read somewhere that Kubota had something like a 4% price increase in January. The steel price may have had something to do with it.

Re: Don\'t sell your Kubota before you price a new one.

Well, this is since the third week of December 2004, that's when I purchased my L3130. When the price quote for the L3830 seemed high, I asked the salesman and he said the Grand L line had a price increase of about a thousand dollars.

There is another dealership that I plan to call and get a quote on the L3830. It's hard to believe that the price is up that much.

Hey, that's more like $450 - $500, not nearly as much as a $1000.
Thanks for the info.

You better wait until those three real cheap Kubota's on ebay go away first. I see there trying to scam again.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could buy a tractor at those prices?

I hope no one gets took by those scammers.
