Hi all,

This question is for New Yorkers. Can you legally drive your compact utility tractor on the road in NYS? I have a JD 4320. it has the slow-moving vehicle sign as well as headlights and flashers. I need it at my other property that is 6 miles away.

Prob depends more on the location. There should be something in the NYS law available online.

Tractors are allowed on most roads, they are not allowed on limited access highways.
State, County and Town roads almost always.
Has your Town or County have a right to farm law, many do.
