my B series kubota is smoking a bit from the engine breather, any tips on how to improve it welcomed

You don't mention how many hours are on the engine. Is there any pressure in the breather? You could have rings or valves not sealing well allowing the bypass of some combustion products. A sticky ring can do the same thing.

Some "smoke" is normal. Typicaly they can puff a bit until warm.

As Roadworthy says. A little is fairly normal. If it excessive white smoke, it is from blow by most likely caused by piston rings not sealing properly

I should have said it is a 2008 with just 681 hours, I have owned it from new, someone suggested putting a oil flush through the engine but more than that I would welcome advise, the tractor is driving fine.
