A Rotella 15W40 should be fine? Average temps usually don't get lower than the teens and typically an average high in the high 70's low 80's
given your location, T6 5/40 would be my choice. have ever you changed 15/40 in 40 degree weather before? i'd go w/the lower viscosity rating on T6. you'll be better off on those 20F degree morning starts w/T6 5/40Would 15W40 weight t6 be fine?
I'll probably do that in the future. It's mostly land clearing right now and in the winter it'll be moving logs for milling. Looks like after my 250 hr oil change I only need to change the oil yearly although i suspect it is probably wide to change it after a certain number of hours too. I guess what I'm saying is the shouldn't be a needed to change it in the winter.
