Hi, I recently purchased a kubota b2630 with a la403 loader and a bh75 backhoe. Can someone please recommend the proper rpm's for using the loader, backhoe, and just driving around.

It is important to maintain enough rpm to not starve the hydro's while driving, I like to see a minimum of 1/3 throttle for that and as far as the backhoe and laoder I'd say that depends on the tractor but you would find that 2/3 to 3/4 will get you the best overall performance and longevity.

I have heard it's not good to lug the engine, but thats not very specific. I currently have around 10 hrs on the hour meter. Are the break-in engine rpms different than the post break-in rpm's? Thanks, Doug

Diesels are meant to work, that doesn't mean not to lug but they do enjoy laboring as it builds heat and they run the best when the engine is at a good operating temperature.
