I can say one thing, that I can not weld like shield arc, or arc weld, but since mark sent me a pa200st welder a couple weeks ago, I don't think that I will have to use my flux core wire machine anymore. I can do 6011 and 7018 rods way
better than I can do on my old craftsman AC/DC machine. I never could get the amps set right on the old machine, this
200st is so easy to set the amps on. I have to thank Mark for taking the time to talk me into getting the 200st rather than
the 140, I can actually whip the 6011 rods with this welder, could not do that with the craftsman. the point is I think that I
really like this welder. I could have used this machine 40 years ago.

What was the selling point for the 200 over the 140? I am interested because I am looking at the 140. What do you think is the best improvement in one of these over your old one?
Thanks.

most of the work that I do is in my shop, so I like the extra amps. plus I can run the 6011/6010 rods much better. my old ac/dc did not like the 6011 rods, I can also take this machine to the other farm and run it on 120 if I need to. I really like how I can do 7018 rods, if all you do is stick I think you will like the 200st better than the 140, IMO. I think that you will like either one of these machines.
