One of these days I'll get up to visit you, if I don't pass first... Got 3 on the property this time btw. a big doe and 2 bucks and I didn't shoot any of them either. All I saw was a yearling rag horn and I passed. He needed to go and get it wet a few times...lol

All 3 of us will be up there this spring, opening up some shooting lanes and seeding new food plots.

This year I decided to stop deer hunting. Too many citiots and it sounds like a war zone on opening day. I back onto thousands of acres of state land. Safer to stay in the house. I do not need meat badly enough to either risk getting shot or waste my time hunting. The "thrill is gone" anyway. Killing deer doesn't excite me anymore.

PM me if you are coming up. Would be good to meet you. We can talk about EV's and the moron we have as governor over a few adult beverages around the campfire.
But enough thread drift...back to regular scheduled programming.

Well - I've got one friendly lap dog - scads of wild turkeys - and the often seen coyotes. Count me in.........
