Dealer is supposed to pick up F3080 in next couple of days to install F5720 blower and necessary hydraulics for chute rotation and deflector control.

I assume that I don't need to send the following parts attached to the lift arms:

1. Rear lift links (see arrow in attached pic)

2. Clevis pins in front portion of lift arms (see arrow)

Am I correct that none of the are required for blower attachment?

Thanks LiftLink.JPGHitch.JPG

Sandalwood,
You are correct
The blower quick attach frame includes the 1" bolts and lift travel stops.
The 2 main lift arms are all that remain, everything else stays with the deck for next summer.
You'll enjoy your 5720, works nicely

Can you post a picture of your machine with the Blower on? Thanks,

Did you end up with a second drive (pto) shaft for the blower?

My dealer took the F3080 (female) end when he took the machine.

Yes, the new 5720 blower comes with a new driveshaft.
Here are a few pictures Murphy

Dan,

My dealer called today to tell me the blower was ready except they didn't have the lift limiter kit (?travel stop kit). None available in North America so 1-2 week wait for parts.
It sounds as if it is functional as is but I need to be careful not to lift the blower too high.

Can you tell me what the lift limiter consists of (or send a pic).

Good morning Lyle,
These are so simple to make, they are made of 2 plates, one 3x3x 5/16 with a half inch hole in it, welded to a 3x4x 1/2" plate (these are from memory). The small plates restrict the lift height by maybe 4" .
But, you are better off to wait for them. Let me know how you like it once you get snowblowing... I can't wait for the next storm. These 5720s work really well...

Thanks Dan.

Blower delivered today and they found a lift limiter kit which was just as you described.

Sadly, they must have tried the lift without limiter as lower part of front panel (plastic) on steering post is scuffed on bottom.
