Right now, it is people that I am trying to keep out.

If it's people you're trying to keep from crossing your fence line, 20' spacing with a couple wires attached to a "weed burner" will be more than suficient.

I've actually touched one of these and the term muscle contraction is an understatement. Probably should post a warning sign.
