bhh, our family got a L3800 a few months ago. We previously had a M5400, but no one in the family but me felt comfortable operating it. Anyway, we sold the M5400 and bought the L3800 (it was between the L3800 and the L4600, and family members opted for the L3800). It is definitely a good tractor. Very strong for its size and hp. The one thing I wanted to improve was the stability. We have some hills on our property. In short, I put 4" spacers on each rear wheel to widen the wheel base. It definitely helped.
