Tractor and crane are a great help when you get older the logs are quite heavy and it is very helpful when you don't have to lift the load by hand.
The video is filmed with an iPhone 13Pro mounted in a DJI OSMO 6 Gimbal in 4K 2160p

Different way of doing it for sure. Have you tried using a table to cut the logs into lengths? Lift them with your crane onto the table, cut them to length, and then you don't have to pick them up off of the ground before putting them in the splitter.

Do you have a picture of your fireplace? It must be massive to use firewood that long!!!

I just helped my neighbor split a bunch of logs for his two outdoor boilers. We had 6 people, a wood processor, skidsteer w/grapple, telehandler w/grapple and worked for 6 hours. We maybe did a semi full of wood plus a shipping container in that time. Any job with him is NOT done at a slow comfortable pace. The OP's video shows wood splitting done at a pace that you can say is enjoyable and not back breaking. Good job. It looks like a beautiful place too. (y)

we cut the 70cm 27,5 ” wood in half in winter time in a box containing 1m2 and keep that under a smal tarpaulin roof in connection to the kitchen where we have the stove

OR, rather than build a table, just use the wagon or trailer you already own,

Then roll the rounds right onto your splitters beam,

It doesn't take long to rip them with your chainsaw if you'd rather get them to a smaller size first,

We have used Firewood for over 50 years
using home made horisontal hydraulic wood splitters.

The good thing about a vertical splitter is that you do not have to lift the firewood so much ;)

Yes waterhybraulic applications are interesting and rather cheap when you use plastic komponents only
