Had to fix my shackles on the BX turnbuckles today. The factory Kubota ones are pretty weak and Ive bent them up pretty bad with my box blade. Easy fix, just drilled out the holes on the 3pt arms to around 7/16" or so to clear the shackle pin.

Although these are chinese clevis i think they are stronger than the Kubota factory shackles.

Future plan is to completely replace the turnbuckle system with a telescoping sleeve pin locking design similar to the factory Deere or the Stabilworks StabilWorks

Some pics.
Bent up factory pin and shackle

Drilling larger holes

New Clevis / shackle installed

Hope so Paul! Theyre just PA clevises, but those factory ones are made out of peanut butter I think!

Still going to be upgrading the turnbuckles sometime soon, but at least I'll be able to pull the pins and spread the 3pt without needing a hammer and vise grips :D .
