ford 1720

Hello.I looked at a ford 1720 with 7108 loader and factory heated cab today.It seems very clean 1500 hours, no dents,didnt smoke when started.(it was about 22 degrees this am) dealer asking$ 10,000.Is this too much? also what other tractor models would be comparable? Oh I want to put a blower on the back as well.Thanks and GodBless....

From one newbie to another, keep working on the dealer.
I got a 1715 2years ago for right around $9000 with only 500 hrs on it.
It also had a FEL,mint shape and I'm the third owner.

Sure it's a factory cab? I've never heard of one.

ford did'nt put cabs on the small tractors, its probly an after market cab, dealer is pullin your leg if he said its factory. 10 grand is kinda steep too, 6500 would be generous. for a little more you can get a new kioti ck25 and 0 percent financing.

He's in New York. You are going to look long and hard for a decent 1720 for $6500 here.
I'd take a good used 1720 long befor I looked at a Kioti.
Ford and New Holland sold cabs as dealer installed accessories, they were not factory installed. 1720's arrived on dealer's lots knocked down and crated.

I gave 7K to boot on a cherry 1 owner 1720 with 245 hours 3-1/2 years ago. I traded a Yanmar YM 1700 with 1250 hours on it. The 1720 was valued at 9K without a loader.

I doubt you will get it for under 9K with the loader. Around here in NC it would bring 10K with the loader.

I misunderstood the cab,I thought a steel cab with glass was factory. We are still working a deal with a blower included,he says some "room" to move on price . Today I found a massey 1250 with 1246 loader,shuttle shift,380 hours,turf tires, also nice and clean $10,500. Is this as dependable(durable) as the ford 1720? Thanks...Rick

I doubt it. But I freely admit bias against MF tractors.
