The new NAPA filter comes with 3 housing o-rings to work on the multitude of tractors the filter will fit. Since they didn't know which o-ring went where; they placed one inside the top of the filter which sealed off the fuel inlet openings to the filter.
Once I fixed the o-rings the tractor runs fine now. :thumbsup:
Thank you for that little nugget. . .I just did *exactly* the same thing. Wouldn't start, wouldn't start, wouldn't start. . .removed the o-ring from the top of the filter, and boom, runs like a top and purrs like a kitten.
Gee, I feel sheepish.
