Ford 4610, IH 300 Utility, '52 Ferguson TO30
I just got a 1981 Ford 4610 3-Cylinder tractor without a cab. Previous owner removed ignition switch and was "hot wiring" it to start it. Been working on figuring out the switch and what connects to what with wiring diagram, multimeter and continuity tester. Just posting this hoping it may help someone in the future.

It's a pretty basic circuit really. Once the engine is started it will run until you cut fuel, air or it locks up.

Nice. I have a 3600. I didn't know how that thermo worked. I live in the South.

Nice, except it's incorrect. Where's the starter solenoid connected in your sketch? You show the Hi/Low shift going to ground. That wire is supposed to go to the starter solenoid. It's the Neutral Safety Switch. If you bypass that (Which I don't recommend), the starter solenoid should be connected to #5 on your ignition switch.
