Ford 4610 or 6610

Sometimes I wish my 3910 was a 4610 or 6610. When I use it I no longer wish it were a 6610. Quite a bit bigger and more clumsy tractor. The 3910 and 4610s are a great size tractor. 4610 series having better HP.

So you gotta decide what your uses are. Lot of difference between the two.

I bought a 5610 FWA new around 1983. It was open station with a canopy as I used it mainly for pulling our carrot and potato harvesters. Dual 16.9 x34’s on the rears for spring tillage. One of my favourite tractors.

I traded it in on a new TS100 FWA with duals front and rear which got sold when I retired but I still have a 3910 around.

The 6610 isn’t bad but depending on the year the block could go porous. 6610 is also heavier.
