Ford 8N and a new Holland 451 sickle bar mower..will it work ?

My brother gave me a nice new Holland sickle bar mower..
Wonder if my Ford 8N will work ?

I want to get it set up ..and simply leave the mower on it.
I have two other modern tractors. I could use.. but I hate messing around with three points.
I got old and weak..lol

Yes 8N with 27 pto HP should power a sickle mower just fine. I remember mowing several acres in my youth with a '36 model JD B tractor with 16 pto hp & sickle mower. Transmission driven pto on both Ford & JD requires some expertise when operating each brand.

Well ?? My Dad says....
Just mow with the John Deere 5093.
That way I have AC...
Mowing takes the longest time.
I must have to agree.. it is nice with AC and a radio....

Yep, once you get used to it it will be 10 minute job to hookup and that is taking it easy.
