It will start, run for a few moments, then cut out.
It will start right back up, but same thing...runs for a few moments then dies.

I have checked through the fuel line, and that seems to be all good...

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the carb float is sticking. Take a wooden hammer handle or similar and peck lightly on the carb bowl, then try it. My 861 does that sometimes if it has been sitting for a while.

Did you check all three filter screens in the fuel line to ensure there is no blockage?

My brother called saying my Jubilee was doing the same and it turned out he hadn't fully opened the gas valve.

Yeah, I've forgotten to open the valve at times in the past. That's one of the first places I look...it was good.

Will it continue to run if the fuel tank cap is loosened?

Possible plugged cap vent? (Insects, corrosion).
