Front-End Loader Front End Loader With Back Hoe

You can do it, but need a front counter weight equal to the weight of the back hoe (minimum). At the price of steel these days that limits you to a chunk of concrete that is large. And you best have some way of putting it on and taking it off, unlike steel it won't be modular.

Just get some guy wire and a couple of anchors and tie the front end down that way.
:D :) ;)

I could see myself using my backhoe with a dozer blade up front instead of a FEL and finding that useful in certain situations. But, this is only if it'd be safe to do so.

That would work, but might limit productivity when digging trenches .....

Is it neccessary to have a FEL fitted to a tractor to be able to work a BH
properly. Is the loader needed to help stabilize the tractor.

How would you properly operate it in tripod mode without an FEL?
