I have a 2000 John Deere 790 with a 70 loader. Today I was working in the field and lifted the bucket and got sprayed in the face with hydraulic fluid. It looks like the hoses have been rubbing against the front tire when it turns, and now there's a small leak.
Can someone walk me through what to do now? Do I just need to buy a hose and swap it out? How do I replace the fluid that sprayed out?
Sorry if these questions are elementary - I am not a great mechanic and don't know much about hydraulics, so I figured it would be better to ask dumb questions than to start working on it and make a dumb mistake .
