If had wing type toggle bolt it will not drive out since has shoulder on to allow toggle to tighten up. You may have to drill a couple holes in it and pry it out.
Probably gonna have to work at it by driving a flat screwdriver into the fitting so it can be distorted and ripped out.New to forum. I'm trying to replace a frost plug heater on a satoh buck. It is a Katz brand. Unable to remove old one from block, any tips or tricks? Missing in pic is plastic cover and wiring. View attachment 818081
If you show me a threaded freeze plug hole, I'll buy you a happy meal. How could it freeze and pop out if it's threaded?Hopefully it's not threaded in.
I thought 'freeze plug' was a misnomer. I thought it was actually used in the casting process, I stand to be corrected tho.How could it freeze and pop out if it's threaded?
Some other freeeze plugs in there only 1/2 diameter. I didn't know if this was specifically for a block heater. If you show me a threaded freeze plug hole, I'll buy you a happy meal. How could it freeze and pop out if it's threaded?
