I did replace the fuel filter, start the engine and it die after 5 minutes.:confused:

It wont start no more, just cranking :(

What could be the problem ? :rolleyes:

Is it a diesel engine? If it is........
Did you fill the new filter with fuel before installing, even if it is self-bleeding?
Did you make sure there is fuel in the tank?
Did you turn the fuel line valve to the "OFF" position?

If it's a diesel engine then the fuel system is probably air bound. You need to bleed the injector lines to remove the air from the system. Crack the lines open at the injectors and crank the engine over until you see fuel squirting out, tighten the lines up and it should start.

G'day as dieselpower said if it is a diesel then it will need to be bled but it may need to be bled at the filter and pump first if you are not sure how to do this tell us what sort of machine it is and someone may be able to give you step by step instructions:)
