- Kubota Tractor Loader L3560 HST+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3,700 pounds bare tractor, 5,400 pounds operating weight, 37 horsepower
I replaced Kubota check chains/turnbuckles with aftermarket Stabilwork's pin adjustable, rigid "check chains".
With lower links pinned open it easy to back up the tractor so lower link "eyes" fit into conveniently wide Howse clevis, then insert draw pins.
I could not find canvas tarps locally, only plastic.
Canvas tarpaulin shown is 10' X 10' X 18 ounce waterproof canvas from Chicago Canvas' site on eBay. With 18 ounce canvas "drape" is enough to secure tarp over equipment under normal circumstances. Smell of the canvas tarp reminds me of the days of my youth, before plastic tarps.
I have been experimenting with different gang angles. Have not determined a default setting.
I am surprised there is no exhaustive post on TBN regarding front/rear gang angles and results in the dirt.
