70F, no rain since midnight
We are having a bit of VOG, but not really heavy.

Got another small gate installed, replacing last of the old fence and essentially completing the perimeter. Still have the dressing, ties, and hog rings to go. Loaded up and took that old rusted wire to the transfer point. Today I get to replace a section of rusted out steel barrier with a homemade panel that will double as an interior gate for the dogs.

Have a great day.

I'm putting terraces in the steep sides of my spring pond to decrease the erosion. Its fun but a little scary cutting the incline. ROPS are up seatbelt on, taking it very slow.
Please be extra careful. I have a friend that lost her husband when he was cutting the incline by their pond.

Stayed up til 2am watching Soylent Green from 1973. :licking: I had never watched the movie. I couldn't resist the chance to watch it commercial-free on TCM.

Haven't seen that movie since the 1970's. We were talking about it earlier this week at work. Wish I had known it was on.

Good Afternoon. 1300, sunny, 68* with 69% humidity. Forecast high of 70* with a 30% chance of rain. My cousin was helping me again this morning. He has paid for the old truck and the battery I bought for him, so this will be his last day for a while. We got the newly cleaned off back porch pressure washed, and washed the car and truck. It was warm enough that while I was washing the vehicles, {much to the regret of folks passing on the road} I went without my shirt. You got to love Florida on days like today. In July, not so much.

It wasn't bad for its age, Margie. The plot is sort of mixed between Charleton Heston being a cop with some fight scenes, and the main idea behind the story I thought. That was Edward G. Robinson's last movie appearance, he did pretty well with it.

I'm not a big movie buff by any means, but I think several later films borrowed from the set design and feel for stories set in a future gone wrong.

There's worse ways to spend and hour and forty minutes. :)

So it was 52 and Sunny in Denver when I landed but about midnight that all changes and it will be snowing by the time I'm up, with a high of 27 tomorrow.

Did I mention that I forgot my coat, and the only shoes I brought are slip on dress loafers?

The move is going fine, I've been sleeping at Mossflower since Friday, and for those of you who remember from the last time I lived at home, something attacked one of the chickens last night and all I can find is a scattering of feathers... Sigh... Some things never change...

Be well all,
David

Make sure what you purchase is towable. Most manufactures have a section in owners manual explain how/if a vehicle can be towed.

thanks Ron, on a dolly, typical fwd. And I will read that section carefully...

The salt lines on your loafers will buff right out.

For traveling as you do, a pair of slip-over boot things would work--if you remember them. You can wear them on the plane, not in luggage, then leave them in your room if not needed.
